Friends of the Festival

Friends of the Whanganui Literary Festival enjoy discounted events in exchange for their support of our Festival.  To find out more about becoming a Friend, please fill out the enquiry form below and email it to us. 

An individual membership is only $15 per year and a family membership for only $25. Friends will receive preferential booking for events at  Whanganui Literary Festivals.

What becoming a "friend" will do for you

• Offer preferential bookings for all events organised by the  Whanganui Literary Festival
• Offer  reduced rate for season passes to the Festival
• Receive regular newsletters updating you on events
• Receive invitations to free, one-off, meet-the-author experiences
• There is also the opportunity to become a volunteer and assist with Literary Festival preparations and events.

• Help to guarantee a biennial Whanganui Literary Festival
• Help the Whanganui Literary Festival Trust to hold exciting literary events in the off-years
